What to expect from a Begin Writing workshop

Begin Writing workshops are aimed at those people who have always wanted to try creative writing but haven't had the confidence or time. A range of prompts and exercises are given throughout the session to help students write their own stories, poems or memoirs. The emphasis is on creativity, relaxation and playing with words. No one is asked to read their work aloud, but there are plenty of opportunities to chat about our ideas and writing in a small, friendly group.
